A New Architectural Landmark in Zakarpattia: How LesCo Created a Unique Entrance Group for APARTEL KOSINO

Zakarpattia is celebrating the opening of a new modern hotel — APARTEL KOSINO. This was a highly anticipated event, and we at LesCo are proud to have been a part of this large-scale project. Our team has realized what can confidently be called one of the most complex and impressive timber structures in Ukraine.

Architectural Innovation: Trusses That Impress

The main feature of the hotel entrance is a unique system of timber trusses. This is not just a canopy — it is a true engineering challenge that we successfully met thanks to the unique production capacities of our plant:

• Unique Solution: We manufactured and delivered massive load-bearing beams with a cross-section of 200x750 mm.

• Scale: The use of solid structural elements 18 meters long allowed for a design that looks light and airy while possessing colossal strength. This solution eliminated the need for unnecessary supports, opening up space for the hotel guests.

Quality Without Compromise

For a project of this level, we chose only the best — selected high-altitude spruce of GL24h strength class. The combination of high-precision processing and reliable Swedish AkzoNobel adhesive systems guarantees that this entrance group will maintain its original appearance for decades, welcoming thousands of guests to the new hotel.

This ambitious project is the result of seamless collaboration. The LesCo plant (Kolomyia) handled the complex production of the structures, while our long-term partners — the company Harazd Holzbau (Kalush) — masterfully brought this engineering concept to life. Together, we have created an architectural landmark that is now a true hallmark of APARTEL KOSINO.
